RISE

Realities in Social Enterprise

RISE – Realities in Social Enterprise is a Strategic Partnership project within Erasmus+ KA2 Programme, dealing with the design and production of educational Outputs which should be of great benefit to adult trainers who are teaching in the field of the Entrepreneurial education.

This project intends to build up evidence-based knowledge on social enterprises and create a new curriculum and learning tools to assist social enterprises as they start and grow. It is in particularly focused on social enterprises from EU that ended up their activities, as we thought that obstacles they faced may serve as learning lessons for those social enterprises that are struggling with different challenges. Specific objective of this project was to promote (social) entrepreneurship education in EU through design, production and dissemination of education. This project follows Europe 2020 agenda on social inclusion, solidarity, fighting unemployment and modernising education.

The project is based on partnership between “Partas – Get Tallaght Working Co-operative Limited” from Ireland, “Connect Association” from Slovenia, and ACT Grupa from Croatia, successful social enterprises that in the last 15-20 years developed in social business support organizations, impact incubators and accelerators with track record of more than 500 supported social enterprises and 20.000 supported persons from disadvantaged groups (through training and job-placement processes).

The project will produce Intellectual outputs which will be free for use and easily accessible through the projects webpage.

We will also organize multiplier events and get stakeholders involved to ensure the dissemination of our intellectual outputs.
